Melinda Mills is Director, Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science

Professor of Demography and Population Health, Oxford Population Health, University of Oxford,  

Founder Data4Science.

Mills has over 20 years of experience in research in the area of demography, fertility,  applied statistics, biosocial health, complex-trait genomics and public health policy. 

Mills is also a Special Advisor to the European Commissioner of the Economy, Professorial Fellow at Nuffield College and Professor of Data Science & Public Health Policy, Department of Economics, Econometrics & Finance, University of Groningen & Department of Genetics, UMCG, the Netherlands.

PUBLICATIONS

Melinda Mills has published extensively on topics related to demography and population health. Her publications include articles in leading academic journals Nature Genetics, Nature Human Behaviour, PNAS, Lancet Public Health and several books, including two statistics textbooks.
